Koulouri. The on-the-go local version of the bagel, a bread ring covered with sesame seeds.
Bakery of Tasos. Go there at 10 am to make sure you don’t miss it! Go for the plain and crunchy or the thick and soft, stuffed with Kalamata olive tapenade, cucumber, dried tomato and feta.
Tasoulas. Mom-and-pop restaurant, feeding generations of Greeks since 1969. Get there early at noon, mum Katerina will wait for you with good company – her famous dolmadakia (stuffed vine leaves)-, she will show you her mastery and even let you roll one or two.
